Today, my boyfriend of 7 years broke up with me in a text message. Then I found out from a mutual friend that he "came out" and told everyone at our school that he is gay. He has known he was gay for years and he was just using me as a cover up. What a great way to start my senior year. FML

That really sucks, but it must suck a lot for him, too. Think about all those years of hiding because society doesn't accept who he is. I'm not saying he's not guilty or didn't hurt you - he certainly is - but he's been through a lot too.

That sounds like an awesome way to start your senior year! You're too young to be in such a long-term relationship anyway. Have fun! Get to know yourself better. Fall in love again! I bet you don't even remember what that feels like. This is TOTALLY an opportunity to turn lemons into lemonade.... and throw in some sweet tea vodka while you're at it. ;-)
