Today, my boyfriend of 7 years broke up with me in a text message. Then I found out from a mutual friend that he "came out" and told everyone at our school that he is gay. He has known he was gay for years and he was just using me as a cover up. What a great way to start my senior year. FML

they didnt start dating when they were ten. they dated for a bit in ninth grade. and this year. and a couple weeks in between. come on amanda, get your story straight girly. youre makin yourself look stupid.

A guy in high school did this to me, but it only lasted months. 7 years seems ridiculous.

This happened to someone I know. =-/ It worked out for her though, she got a hotter, smarter, nicer STRAIGHT man and the guy who had been using her for cover got no one. :)

i dont know if your making this up or not but if your serious can you think about him and how scared he was to tell anyone that hes gay before you go on this site (this goes for anyone) and think about the other person and how their situation is before you think your life is worse than theirs

I'm not American, but from my exposure to American culture, I associate the term "senior" with highschool. Therefore, I'm assuming you've been dating this guy since you were 11 or something? That seems a bit of a stretch.
