Today, my boyfriend pointed out that the water bill is getting kind of high. I suggested that we shower together to save water. He said he'd rather deal with the high water bill. FML

Today, I've found that the water bill has been much lower than usual as of late. I then realized that this is because I'm so depressed and hardly get out at all, that I've stopped showering or even taking care of myself in general. Who do I have to impress, anyway? FML

Why do you imply that he's gay or sexually confused? He may either not see his girlfriend attractive, or he needs some privacy and a place he can be alone, or he may be shy and not liking the thought of cleaning himself near the significant other, or maybe. Just maybe it's not his thing to shower with other people. Or the shower may be barely large enough for two people and it would be more of a hassle trying to fit Is there anything special showering with your gf anyway? It's just a regular shower anyway

You know guys, if you just have a quicker shower, it doesn't cost that much... studies also show that taking quick warm showers is better than long hot showers. If you can take a three minute shower, you can save a lot on your water bill.

Check to see you don't have a plumbing leak. Turn all the water off, check the meter. If its flowing, you have a leak.

Why so much debate over showering together is/isn't sexy? I, personally, like to shower and bathe with my lover. It can be a powerful, sensual bonding experience to start or end the day. Sometimes it leads to even more steamy things. Now, why should my own preferences to how I get my rocks off affect how anyone else gets physical with their significant other? You may want to try it for yourself or you won't want anything to do with it; that's your prerogative. Either way, I can do my thing, and you can do yours. Why the debate if there's no harm?
