Today, my boyfriend pointed out that the water bill is getting kind of high. I suggested that we shower together to save water. He said he'd rather deal with the high water bill. FML

Why do you imply that he's gay or sexually confused? He may either not see his girlfriend attractive, or he needs some privacy and a place he can be alone, or he may be shy and not liking the thought of cleaning himself near the significant other, or maybe. Just maybe it's not his thing to shower with other people. Or the shower may be barely large enough for two people and it would be more of a hassle trying to fit Is there anything special showering with your gf anyway? It's just a regular shower anyway

10 to 1 he's got someone on the side cause I have a small shower and my fiancé and I shower together a lot. My ex however had someone else on the side and refused to shower with meat all cost.

in my class, up to the eight grade, my classmates didn't shower after PE/Gym (don't know what it's called in english) beacuse we thought a guy was gay. ask him why the **** not he don't want to shower with you why should the comments give you the answer, go ask that ******

Wow, that made me lose my morning wood! What's with all these FMLs about guys not being attracted to their girlfriends?!?! These days it's OK to be gay. Everybody has private things to do in the shower, and he just doesn't want you disturbing him while he's thinking, or watching him. I'm still sorry, OP. A lot of boyfriends are dumbass douchebags, according to all the stories I've read about boyfriends on FML. Just don't take his response too seriously, it might make things even more awkward.

For sexy time, it's a good idea. As a water saver, it won't work. Only one person can be in the water at a time, you have even less space than normal, and one person is always cold and out of the water so in reality it's going to take about twice as long and no water is actually saved. He's just being realistic.

I think this is just a get-over-it situation. I agree with a few posters, sometimes a shower is just much needed alone time. Yeah, you can have "fun" but when it comes down to the conventional purpose getting clean is easier when you don't have to tango around each other for water.

Agreed! You gotta remember, most of these people are teens & still have that romantic idea of what love is! I've been married over 23 years & we shower separately, always have!
