Today, my boyfriend pointed out that the water bill is getting kind of high. I suggested that we shower together to save water. He said he'd rather deal with the high water bill. FML

Why do you imply that he's gay or sexually confused? He may either not see his girlfriend attractive, or he needs some privacy and a place he can be alone, or he may be shy and not liking the thought of cleaning himself near the significant other, or maybe. Just maybe it's not his thing to shower with other people. Or the shower may be barely large enough for two people and it would be more of a hassle trying to fit Is there anything special showering with your gf anyway? It's just a regular shower anyway

2 shower heads people, then it's fine for both (Doesn't save much water though =P) Yeah it might be a pain to schedule, but if you're both up and need to shower, no reason one person can't hop in with the other. They don't NEED to start and end at exactly the same time, the guy can get out when he's done if he's faster, and it will still save water since there's an overlap.

Some people prefer to shower alone! I've never been a fan of showering together! We've been married over 23 years & we shower separately! No big deal!

Could be two things: 1. Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable washing his asshole, dick, and balls with you right there. I'm sure you'd rather have a high water bill and shower alone than have a guy who doesn't clean his asshole and dick and balls, or watch him clean his asshole, dick and balls. 2. Get a gym membership.

Low-grade depression going on here..? It doesn't seem like he can find anything nice to say about anything... Or anyone (yes, I mean you!). When my already 'thrifty' bf would rather have any one of our expenses increase than shower with me... It's about over.
