Funerals bring up thoughts of mortality and how life is too short. He seized the moment.
Yes, he seized the moment for him. But now her moment is tinged with sadness.
Are you dating Will Ferrel?
Bad timing, sorry for your loss! Maybe he realized how easy death can come and that he didn't want to live knowing you could lose each other at any moment, so he did the next best thing.. Made sure he'd have you til the day he died!
There is a *little* romance there. Maybe if it was someone with whom you were both close to, it was a last dying wish. Like they didn't want everyone to be super sad and knew he was going to propose anyway and asked him to do that. I doubt it though. Emotions run high when loved ones pass away, so it is very possible he felt vulnerable and just went with it. Either way, sorry for your loss and congrats if you said yes.
Depends of who was the person ego passed away My guess is that this person was close to the OP, which explains why she is upset. The only thing I know is that he was thinking about proposing for some time but unfortunately, the timing wasn't right.
That is slightly strange to say the least. I would like to hear his reasoning behind it.
And that's called good timing :P
I'm really not sure why he would pick that time to propose. Maybe he thought it would lighten the mood? It was a bad time no matter what, and I'm sorry for your loss OP
Reminds me of Last Vegas

Maybe he didn't want to live another second without being married to you.
Perhaps he takes "Til Death do us Part" very seriously..
