Just cut out her outline and replace it with yours. Proceed to do so with anybody in any picture with him.
Mothers that hate who their son is with need to cut the cord.
Mothers that can't let go of their sons relationships make me crazy. Don't let it get you down, I'm sure your awesome
I'm shocked that no one has taken the route that I'm about to: Dump your pussy of a boyfriend. He needs to put his disrespectful mother in place and stand up for you! Totally out of line.
How do you know he didn't? An FML is not an essay, there's a limited amount of characters. Maybe OP's boyfriend and his mother have been fighting over this issue for the past three years, and this is just yet another one of her passive aggressive ways of showing her disapproval. Her son's reaction isn't even mentioned here.
I think this is up to your boyfriend to tell her how things are and stand up for you. Good luck.
The mother of one of my exes (we broke up about 8 yrs ago), still has a framed picture of her son and me up in her house. Both he and she are still dear friends of mine. He has a wonderful girlfriend now, and his mom loves her. Putting up the picture may have nothing to do with you.
My boyfriends mom did that too. Not only did they break up 2 years before we started dating, but we were dating 2 years already when she did that. I talked to him about it and he took it down and threw it out and had a talk with her. Good luck OP!
Maybe make her some of her favorite food? She'll have to come around eventually!!
My boyfriends mom hung pictures of him ad his ex up in his room, along with a dirty poster. she doesn't hate me, she just likes to hang stuff on the walls. we pulled them down, though. His mom and I get along pretty well, so I know it was nothing against me.

My ex-boyfriend's mum did the same, and she'd go on about how lovely his ex was. I've heard that since breaking up she's done it with his new girlfriend too.
What an insensitive woman. I really hope your boyfriend stuck up for you and said something about it/took it down. FYL, op!
