I almost want to agree with 56! There is a definate possibility that the OP is the issue! I've had that issue with my sister's boyfriends wanting to be with me and I've asked why and their reasons have ranged from clingy to jealous, selfish and controlling and not being considerate of their feeling

Ouch! I don't know if that's some seriously bad luck or your best friend is doing something behind your back.
