Today, my boyfriend sent me a text telling me to turn the radio on to a certain station. When I did, there was a talk show on, and the host was ranting about how important it is for women to control themselves and not be emotional. My boyfriend continued texting me, asking if I was listening. FML

Your situation really doesn't sound so bad at all... Break up with him? Some people are assholes and sometimes people make the mistake of dating them. Point in case, if he upsets you that much, it's time for a split.

you're a ***** (# 2 i think).... well it depends. if she is overly emotional and cries ALL THE TIME or freaks out too easily... then as a guy he would PROBABLY start looking at this as "crying wolf." A guy isn't going to bend over backward to try and fix every little thing because men want to be with someone who is emotionally stable and mature and a mature person doesn't have emotional issues. (getting a grip on your emotions is a part of maturity). im not even saying that to be snarky. I have to work on my own emotional baggage and its been an issue here and there for my otherwise fantastic relationship. A guy will comfort a girl if her "outburst" is rational... but if she cries all the time... it would just frustrate and annoy him and that doesn't make him a bad guy... it just makes him someone tha doesnt want to babysit their sig other everytime there is an iusse...

haha, that would be something i'd send to my girlfriend, cept i'd only do it as a joke to wind her up as she loves it and i get away with it =P If he was serious thats just a bit mean though
