I get that he should have had a better answer, some thing like your beauty/are funny, but if you ask someone why they love you, you are either fishing for compliments or you don't trust him. If I were him and you asked me that, I'd take that as a sign you are worried that I may be cheating or that you are thinking about ending things between us. Either way, YDI.
