If you didn't use makeup to begin with, this never would have happened. I don't understand why everyone is calling him an asshole. I also think it wasn't the nicest thing to say, but why would you wear so much makeup? It's like hiding what you actually look like. There's no point to doing it.

I Don't think he was trying to be a douche. He probably just sucks at paying compliments and has no tact. My husband was the same way, and so is his entire family. If you love him, just learn to tell him to stop talking after the compliment is given. It's taken years but my hubs has learned to!

I bet that's not what he meant. I bet he means that it takes a long time to put it on. You might try just putting on the minimum like mascara, blush and lipgloss and of course eyebrows if you need them. See what he thinks then. Or you could dump his ass for being a dick.

Maybe use a bit less and less then he will realize that it's not the make up...

I wear NO makeup. Unless I am going to an extra special occasion. Makeup is a waste of money and time.

I dont get why people only care about looks these days, I mean what if a girl looked "good" but she was a complete bitch and if another girl was "ugly" but is really kind, most people would go out with the bitchy one. Sorry about the rant but it just needed to get out.
