Possession is possible, I've witnessed it happen to my brother once when I was nine. But I don't see how having a knife under his pillow will help from that... I'd avoid from sleeping with him, you never know when he'll have a dream and grab it and start slashing in his sleep, or go for you when you sneak out of bed to get something.
My cousin was diagnosed with schizophrenia and when he came off his medication he said demons were trying to pull him down to hell. He grabbed a knife and wouldn't let anyone near him. My aunt had to stay with us overnight and he had to be sectioned briefly. He now has to attend the hospital for his medication to make sure he takes it but the hallucinations can be very real to someone suffering. It might be a mental health issue.
Run. Run away and never look back.
I believe that demons are real, but a knife won't do anything. Tell him to get a metal cross and dip it in holy water before he goes to sleep, and hang it above him.
You could also get a priest to bless it. That's what my friend did.
Time for a break up.....
Lol I was drunk the other day and my grandma told me i was saying i was possessed. Are you sure he was sober while telling you this op?
sounds like the series "ghost whisperer"

I hope he doesn't twitch in his sleep. Also he's an idiot who will probably end up stabbing himself and you (if you're staying over).
Just, run.
