Today, I went to the movies with my boyfriend. We went inside the theatre and he saw a couple of his friends. Instead of saying hi and coming back to watch the movie with me, he ditched me for them. When I reminded him he was forgetting something, he grabbed the popcorn out of my hands and left. FML

Today, I went to the movies on a date. I went to pay for the tickets when I realized that I didn't have my wallet. Instead of my boyfriend paying, he laughed and paid for his own ticket. Then he went ahead and saw the movie without me. FML

Today, trying to be romantic, I invited my girlfriend over to watch a movie. I said she could pick one up on the way, and I'd pay for it later. I ended up having to suffer through some "movie" that involved nothing but Nicolas Cage gurning like a stroke victim between crappy fight scenes. FML

Today, I called my boyfriend and asked if he wanted to come watch a movie. He seemed eager, until I said I needed the company because my period had started. He then went dead silent, waited a few seconds before starting to fake-snore, then hung up on me. FML

Today, my boyfriend convinced me to face my fear of horror movies by promising to hold my hand through the entire flick. He fell asleep 10 minutes into it, farting and snoring in his sleep, whilst I was paralysed by fear. FML

Your partner isn't going to have the same tastes as you, dumping him is stupid and drastic, just think of something else to do or if it really bothers you just mention it. At the end of the day it really is a pretty small thing to get worked up about, at least you made an effort and if he complains again he's being silly.

All movies look great in the trailers, but most of the time, they are boring, formulaic crap. He probably made the better choice to sleep. Hey, he'd be more well-rested for sex later on. Win-win!

#56, I've been on nearly every day. Go see my comment on the "super glued to the toilet" FML from a couple of days ago -- I had great fun with that. I like your pic. Why did the Siamese Twins move to England? So the other one could drive :)
