if my boyfriend blew my special moment by making it someone else's special moment as well, I would have said no, too. next time, try making it just about your relationship and not someone else's. where you planning on sharing your wedding as well???

good and bad call OP, great idea poor execution. Ladies really value a proposal as there "only about me" moment they don't want to remember another woman there spoiling it. If you and your brother would of proposed simultaneously, separately you would have achieved a better result. good luck
