Today, my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. I walked about 3 miles to the nearest house to call a tow truck. When I got back to where I left my car, it was gone. FML

if OP didn't have his/her phone how could he/she make this post? It was either towed or stolen, either way the local authorities must be informed, sure hope OP has a friend or family that can pick him/her up and get out of that place..wish OP luck and protection..

The post could've been sent in a few days later. "Today" doesn't mean it actually happened TODAY. It's part of the FML rules to have it there (and it even shows up automatically)!
