Today, my cat was too overweight to get out of the litter box, so he gave up, and went to sleep. I had to pick him up out of his own waste and clean him up. FML

When your cat is too lazy to lift himself out of his own feces, you know it's time to put him on a diet. On the bright side, you don't need to waste money on a cat bed. Like Puss n Boots in Shrek 4.

Help I've feline and can't get back up!

Poor cat :( If he's really THAT overweight, you should bring him to a vet or put him on a diet. If you fail to do either of those, then you'll be neglecting (hell, I think you are already) you're cat.

If your cat is long haired please bring him to a professional groomer, that's your first step. Being matted will prevent him from moving freely and comfortably. Feces and urine can accumulate and burn/infect the region. Second step, evaluate his diet. Dry food should be grain free - high protein, no grains, very low carb. Wet food should be offered so that your cat doesn't sit in front of the water dish; moisture from wet food goes to the muscles where it's needed as opposed to "dish water" that can cause water weight and urinary problems. Portion control will be his best friend. Cats lose weight slowly and it could take several years to obtain a happy weight. Third, consult your vet. He could very well have a thyroid issue that needs balancing.. Just don't buy any food the vet suggests. They typically have 2-3 weeks of nutritional training paid for by Science Diet, Purina, Royal Canin, etc. and the basis of it is to teach them what food to prescribe, not how to fix the root of the problem. Their formulas are full of by-product, corn, wheat, soy, gluten and some are even literally devoid of meat. THAT will make your cat obese.

This is th worst information ive ever ******* heard. Do not listen to a thing this person said.

lol I'm sorry but the first part of that is just a funny image... Second part not so much.
