Overfeeding a cat is regarded as animal cruelty op and will shorten his life and make him seriously. Limit his food intake, or feed him little and often. Entice him to move around and play with him. Your vet can help you with this.

Get off the bad pet owner bandwagon, consult a veterinarian, and work hard on resolving the obesity. It's a very serious health concern if it's at this point, and yes, cats can get diabetes.

it is considered abuse to overfeed an animal. but there are a LOT of things that cause obesity in animals. since we do not know the full story, don't judge!

My cat started doing that and we finally took him to the vet and found out he had a blockage in his urethra and couldn't pee. The vet cleaned it out but it was too late. My cat died that night. It's possible your cat may have the same problem.
