You're an idiot for not ever noticing how bad your cat's weight problem until it had to lose all of its cat dignity to make you realise you need to stop over feading your pet. I own a cat its really not that hard to keep it at a normal weight.

F your cats LIFE. I know everyone is telling you to put the poor thing on a diet, but you might want to get it's thyroid checked too. That could be the cause of it's weight along with too much food.

You should be careful. My sister had a fat cat and it developed fat cat syndrome (that's what our vet called it), where she stopped eating and the fat from her body shocked her liver causing it to shut down. They don't know what causes it but it only happens in overweight cats.
