Ouch. Lots of hate on this one.
Quite deservedly so. It's abusive if a parent over feeds their child, and it's equally abusive if a pet owner over feeds their pet.
Agreed. As a groomer I tend to plenty of obese dogs and cats. It's heartbreaking. They become aggressive because it hurts to stand long and be manipulated, they have pressure sores, they drool and pant uncontrollably, their behinds are sore and raw from feces and urine sticking to them.. What a sad life to lead.
This comment made me really really sad.
You should be ashamed...get your cat on a diet before he gets sick, suffers, and dies from his obesity.
Kitty needs a treadmill. If anything lay him on it and watch him roll.
Only time I've had a cat stay in a litter box that long was when I was trying to get him to the vets. He saw the carrier and sat on the litter box like he was taking a shit for like an hour. I had to make my husband yank him out of it.
Aww smart kitty!
#65, Also if a cat is quite ill.
He was fine. Just hiding. He hated car rides and since I shut off the bedroom door so he couldn't hide under the bed he chose the next best place. He always did stupid things when he saw the carrier. Can't say I blame him. I don't like my yearly flu shot. I doubt he enjoyed his yearly shots either.
I can't make light of this post, as it is pretty upsetting that someone is killing their cat and thinks their own life is ******. F kitty's life.
There is a saying... If your pet is too fat, you're not getting enough exercise! That or he's hitting the nip too hard. Give him... the TALK.
You guys are harsh. It's not all his fault his cat his overweight. Sure, he may overfeed, but that cat is in control of its own weight. The cat does not eat everything it gets
F your cats life not yours!

What the heck do you feed your cat?
When your cat is too lazy to lift himself out of his own feces, you know it's time to put him on a diet. On the bright side, you don't need to waste money on a cat bed. Like Puss n Boots in Shrek 4.
