Today, my dad forgot me at cross country practice. When he got there two hours late, instead of apologizing, he said, "Hey, that's only the third time I've forgotten you at practice. You should be congratulating me." FML

Same thing different taste

Poor planning on your part does not necessitate an emergency on mine

Today, as always, when my dad says he needs my help and that it will only take 15 minutes, it will actually take all day because he doesn't plan ahead. This has happened three times now, so this time I demanded he compensate me for my time if I have to drive out there. He called me an "entitled little shit" and hung up. FML

If you're a cross country runner, just be like Forrest and take your practice home! Run Forrest, Run!

Don't listen to anyone saying "run home". Grow some wings and fly home.

even though she runs cross country, if she lives far away, she can't run home. I do cross country and I definitely can't run home.

it's def way too hard to run home after a practice.. it doesn't matter the mileage... being a XC runner myself, I know this... and I live five minutes from our practice place...

He should be friends with Homer Simpson.

gotta love parents who forget their children at practices!

If he picked you up in a car, without an overnight bag. You could have ran it.

So I'm guessing that you congratulated him?
