Today, my boyfriend wanted to take me to a movie after days of not seeing me. This long-awaited date involved me paying for food and my movie ticket when he ran out of cash again. He then dumped me as we left the theater walking to his car. Yes, I financed my own breakup date. FML

Today, I went on a date that went well, until the bill came and she quickly shoved it in my direction, then went to the loo. Rude, but I thought nothing of it… until our waiter took pity and told me I’m the fourth guy she’s had this week who'd been made to pay for her. I paid half, then went home. FML

Uh...he "made" you? Did he hold a gun to your head and threaten your life if you didn't? You should have said no and ran. And if he made you pay BEFORE the date began, I would have said screw you and not gone with him. If this didn't happen until after the date, I would have jumped out of the car and ran back to the house, then slam and lock the door. I hope you didn't actually give in.
