Ding ding ding ding! We have a winner!
sorry to say, but you raised your daughter wrong.
only give her money for doing good things like great behavior, cleaning up her room or eating all of her veggies (don't give money every day). and it shouldn't be alot of money! you don't even have to reward her with money all the time. give the kid some candy or a cookie, even take her to a playground.
Giving her money for good behavior is precisely why her daughter said what she did. "I'm only nice to you because you give me money." You want to reward this?!?!?! Please don't ever spawn.....
the idea is,"not a lot of money" and "not every time" so she doesn't always expect it. there ain't nothin' wrong with rewarding good behavior every now and then occasionally. and frankly if the kid says that kind of back talk to the parent, you cut them off obviously to show that rewards are a privelage and not a right. I already have a child FYI. I hope YOU don't spawn though. you sound like you don't know how encourage and support a child to do the right thing in positive light. it gives a kid motivation finish a task. didn't you ever get a treat from a teacher in class if you answer a question correctly when you were smaller? you poor guy.
Aha, I was like that when I was younger. This really just means you're a **** who isn't nice to her. Maybe if you treat her well enough you don't have to buy her love.
Sounds like she'll make a great business person in the future!
She's six so you still have the time to turn things around!
Well dealing with kids most of my life they don't really realise what you do for them just what they get, she's young she'll appreciate you more as she gets older maybe instead of getting her things go out and play with her more it's about the interaction not the toys
YDI, a six year-old shouldn't have pocket money.
I had pocket money when I was six, but then again I had to be my own babysitter too. Depends.

Don't give her money for no reason. Put it into a college savings instead.
she's learning to manipulate you early. you already know you need to fix this.
