Sounds like the both of you need some vanilla ice cream. It fixes everything.
Bitch, please.
My suggestion is to do things with your dog and create a more positive bond. Take him on walks, to the dog park, play fetch. Create happiness and you will both feel better. :)
Awwww, that is so sad!!!!!
My dog and I both have severe anxiety. When I adopted him mine wasn't that bad, so I was excited to bust out my dog training skills and socialize him...and thus myself. His anxiety got better, mine got worse, but he's the only thing that stops my attacks! So we do help eachother, even it's just that we're freaks together ;)
What? Dogs get depressed? I own 4 and I've had dogs & other pets, I've never heard of a dog getting depressed unless it lost its owner or playmate! I've never heard of a dog getting depressed for no reason!
We get it. You never heard of doggie depression.

Or you can cure each other. Make each other happy. Dogs feed off of your emotions.
Maybe you can help each other fight your depression.. Good luck, OP! I love dogs too and I find it sad that it was diagnosed with depression.
