Today, my dogs broke through our electric fence, one of whom managed to get his collar off. I picked it up and, without thinking, went across the fence line. I screamed like a chihuahua being run over by a bulldozer. FML

What a jerk off. If its on your hand and it hurt that bad imagine how much it hurts around te poor pups neck. If its an absolute must to have can't you just set the shock lower so it won't hurt as bad.

1) Learn how to spell 2) Dogs need to know their boundaries. Have you seen the economic horror stories? Maybe OP couldn't afford a regular fence, maybe OP has dachshunds/Scotties/other burrowing dogs, but either way he/she cares enough to not want the poor pups run down by idiot drivers

My family put in an 'invisible' fence for our New puppy, And older Lab. They've learned where not to cross. IF they get shocked, It's not bad at all. I hate when jerks put it up all the way.
