Today, my dogs broke through our electric fence, one of whom managed to get his collar off. I picked it up and, without thinking, went across the fence line. I screamed like a chihuahua being run over by a bulldozer. FML

37- just go to a corner and think about what you said.

What a jerk off. If its on your hand and it hurt that bad imagine how much it hurts around te poor pups neck. If its an absolute must to have can't you just set the shock lower so it won't hurt as bad.

GRAMMAR NAZI MOMENT *chihuahua (^_^ I screwed that word up a couple times before its spelling stuck in my head, I don't care if I am being a grammar nazi, I'm going to take pride in knowing how to spell it!!)

xD makes me feel better for walking into a pole

My friend once walked into a large blue wall while informing me that I tend to be oblivious. Yeah, pole, not so bad. (see people! Don't regret your dumb off your ass moments! There will always be someone out there that is more life challenged than you! ^_^)

Now you know how the dog feels. YDI for being a heartless jerk.

Buy your dog a tie-out instead of trying to use pain/displeasure as a means of keeping it in. After a while, the dog grows resistant (or just stops giving a shi..) to the shock anyway.

Your dogs were showing you how they feel. Treat others like how you would want to be treated...

Wimp. I've been shocked by one of those collars tons of times. It's set for a golden retriever, so it isn't any baby shock, but the worst that I've ever done is drop it.

Tons of times? Most dogs learn after one or two shocks. Guess it takes a little longer for others to learn...
