Today, my ex, who I'm still in love with, emailed me. I thought she changed her mind about us, so I poured my heart out to her. She just wanted to let me know she has chlamydia, and advise me to go to the clinic. FML

Sounds like OP needs to learn to read before getting carried away. And if the ex gave you the clap, time to move on.

So allow me to break down the events... 1) u revived an email 2) you replied incorrectly because...? A) you didn't read it first B) she was vague and didn't explain in first email 3) if A you arr an idiot and Should move on 4) if B you are still at partial fault for not allowing her to speak first and assuming but understandably so due to the emotional hope - it sucks, I'm sorry, try and mend and move on 5) this type of info would allow us to better empathize with you (or increase the YDI votes - depending on the specifications)

Because love advise from a 14 year old would be great advise.

Yes, because finding out your partner has an STD makes all the pains of a break up disappear out of the window. Yay chlamydia!

1. She was cheating on u and contracted the clap, or 2.she had it before u guys got together??? Either way, its ****** up, but atleast she had the balls to tell you,

At least it's treatable with antibiotics

At least it is curable. Better than genital warts or something else that never goes away. Still sucks though.
