Today, my family and I finished moving to Texas. As if that isn't bad enough, I'll have to introduce myself all over again to everyone I meet and explain that yes, my parents really did name me Lilypad. FML

I fail to see how moving to Texas is a bad thing. There are many major corporations based there meaning lots of job opportunities, the cost of living is extremely low compared to other states, and it's the state that has been least affected by the economic down turn. The people are friendly, the food is fantastic, and Texas is known for having extremely beautiful women. Don't let the stereotypes ruin a great experience for you in a new place. You will be saying "y'all" in no time! :)

First of all, where's the stereotype in this FML? She was just mentioning that she moved there. Not that there was anything wrong with Texas. What the FML is about is that she's just moved to a new place and now has to re-explain to everyone that her actual name is Lilypad. Learn to read please
