"Emo" for most people is basically an insulting word for anyone who dresses in black -_- I once dressed in a black turtleneck and black jeans and was called emo :( That, and it's not always for people who pretend to be depressed and cut themselves for no reason. You wear something like h. Naoto or (if you're a girl) Lolita, and ta-da! You're an emo!
