Sorry for your loss. What a crappy person he is.
quit your stupid job and take a break!
I am sorry for your loss. I hope you phoned back
I'd quit. Any boss that doesn't understand putting family first, doesn't earn my respect to work my ass off for
ydi asshole. don't let you dad die
That really sucks OP! Your boss is such a dick! It's technically considered a family emergency so hopefully your company's policies will help you out! Good luck OP!
I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know how long you've been working there or what could get you fired. But if you're confident that your boss won't fire you over taking a day off for grieving, do that. Seriously, he needs to understand his employees are humans with feelings. Not robots to be exploited
I know everyone right away says to quit your job, but I don't know your financial situation, and it's not my place to know. Realistically, not everyone gets the boss they deserve, and I know you deserve a boss that can at least empathize with other human beings. Depending on where you work, I'd call your bosses boss. Explain the situation and hope he has a better heart
Maybe the boss has gotten caught up in his job and doesn't have as much sentimentality as before he had his job. This happens to quite a few people
