Today, my female room-mate decided to throw away my xbox, along with a few other possessions because they reminded her of her ex. Furiously, I asked her if "it was that time of the month again." Now I can't feel my balls, and miss my games. FML

...Fragile emotional state? Seriously? I take offense to that. It doesn't matter if she WAS on her period, or if she was having excruciating cramps (and if she was, how he hell could she be walking to throw the stuff out the window?), the stuff she threw out cost MONEY, most likely hundreds of worth of dollars, which she tossed because a ****** up excuse, and then assaulted him for getting understandably angry. Seriously, I hate all this 'if a woman is on her period, she's a monster' crap going around, I get some damn painful cramps and at most I get a little moody and snippy, not psycho-crazy. FYL, and sue her!

I simply don't get why people say YDI to this one. No one has any right to throw out their room mates possesions or get violent - no matter if something their room mate did reminded them of their ex-boyfriend. And yeah, I'm female, I have three male room mates, an ex-boyfriend and I get my period regularly once a month. I still don't think it's okay. Definitely FYL, and I think you should tell her that if she doesn't pay the full price for everything she threw out, you'll press charges.

Agreed! To me, it doesn't matter if they are male or female. Nobody ******* touches my stuff. In a roommate situation, no one gets to throw the other person's shit away. There are very few things that can piss me off, and I can't talk out. That would be one of them. If someone threw something of mine out, I would flip out. I would DEFINITELY make them pay me back, and they'd be lucky if their ass wasn't out on the street as soon as I had my money. I'd rather struggle on my own than live with a psychopath like that with no boundaries.

If ANYONE threw away any of my possessions for any reason at all, I'd kick their ass on the curb in a heartbeat! You don't trash other people's shit just because of some bitchy excuse like "It reminds me of my Ex". May as well burn all her clothes and use the same excuse back at her. In all reality, sue her in a small claims court and kick the bitch out. Word of advice--don't get another female room mate. EVER! Too risky! Take it from someone who knows, there are a LOT of women who are total bitches. They make the rest of the women look horrible. But when it comes to those finding a room mate, you have NO idea what female room mates are the total BITCHES or the ones who actually have brains. Even I have to lock my door so no one throws away my stuff, be it games, clothes, collectible toys, or books. Their excuse for wanting to throw it out? "I never see you use them."

As a female, I completely agree with these statements. Ive only had one female roommate who EVER worked out, and that's because women are ******* stupid. The one it worked out with was more like a guy, anyway. :) Find a guy to room with, OP. And def take that bitch to small claims!
