Today, my fiancé proposed to me at the movies. The movie stopped in the middle, and my fiancé stands up, takes out a microphone and announces to the entire theatre that he loves me. Right when he went on one knee, someone shouts, "Turn the movie back on!", and throws a cup of coke at my head. FML

Today, at a restaurant, I happily watched as my boyfriend of three years got down on his knees and proposed to me. Before I could say yes and hug him, a girl flung herself at him, kissed him and shouted, "Yes!" With us still highly confused, she then ran away. FML

Today, I thought it would be romantic to propose to my girlfriend during halftime at a local football game. I arranged everything with the stadium staff. When the moment came, I got down on one knee, only for her to hiss, "Are you serious? Right here?" She ran off, leaving me kneeling in front of hundreds of people. FML

Today, I decided to pop the question to my beloved. Perfect lighting, fresh cut roses, a fancy dinner. The restaurant was in on it too. Shame they brought out the wedding-themed congratulations dessert before I actually went down on my knee. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend with the cliché of the diamond ring in a champagne glass. Apparently there was an off-duty police officer across the room watching me slip the ring into the glass. He thought I was slipping in a date-rape drug and tackled me down before I could propose. FML

Well, it is kind of rude to interrupt the movie for other people. I know I would get made if the movie I pair for suddenly stopped in the middle so some guy I don't know could propose.

Not the best idea for a proposal, it was cute the thought he put into it, but if i were you and that happened, you better believe I would have jumped up and whooped that kids ass that threw it at me, thats just plain out disrespectful,,, I dont know how else I can plainly put this but...... It might not be the best place to propose, but it's a special moment for a couple anyway. And to those who say, 'you're being rude to those who spent their money on the movie' Okay then, yeah, you're being rude, but the guy who threw the coke is just stupid. 'I just spent 10 bucks on a movie, which you are interrupting, so I'm going to throw my 4 dollar coke at you as revenge for being proposed to by your boyfriend.' I would be a little mad, yes, but I wouldn't be super pissed like that. Just shut up, clap, and you get your f***ing movie back in 2 minutes. Throw a coke, and you get a wet girls boyfriend beating the s*** out of you for the next 5.

Proposing at a movie theatre?! Seriously?? That is so lame, and I can't help but sympathize with the coke thrower, though it sucked they threw it at you. Your bf would so deserve that....
