Today, my fiancé proposed to me at the movies. The movie stopped in the middle, and my fiancé stands up, takes out a microphone and announces to the entire theatre that he loves me. Right when he went on one knee, someone shouts, "Turn the movie back on!", and throws a cup of coke at my head. FML

Well, it is kind of rude to interrupt the movie for other people. I know I would get made if the movie I pair for suddenly stopped in the middle so some guy I don't know could propose.

Who would even think of interrupting a movie to propose? Dumbest idea ever. Plus getting down on one knee in a movie theater? Ewwwwwwww. Those floors are nasty.

Today, some idiot got up to propose to his girlfriend in the middle of the movie I was watching. While attempting to throw my coke at the jackass, it hit her. Awww well, the movie was ruined. FML

yall act like the movie isn't going to come back on

It was cute gesture but your public display of affection is annoying for the rest of us.

I don't think the proposal idea was lame. It would be awesome minus the beverage attack. Unless, you know, that was a really ******* good movie you guys were interrupting there. Then I could sympathise with the coke thrower.

well think on the bright side, your happy together and now getting married :)

Yeah, well, granted it's a proposal and sweet and an important moment but COME ON!! If you've paid to see a movie the last thing you want is for some jerkass to stop something you've looked forward to so he can propose. That is really inconsiderate but I think he should have gotten the coke not you. Have fun.

Cm0n. you got propossed to and you get mad because you have coke on you. ydi for postin this.

@121: Really, you think all the people complaining are guys? Well, I'm not, and if some asshole inturputted a movie a paid for so I could watch him propose to his girlfriend, I'd be ticked. I didn't pay to watch some dick propse--I paied for the movie. @OP: OMFg!!1! Wait, you don't mean people actually got mad at you two for stopping something they paid money for so that they could watch to strangers get engaged! Really!? Seriously, though, the screaming was warrented, and demanding the movie be started agiain was too--sorry to break it to you, but a room full of strangers aren't all likely to care much if you're getting engaged--but the coke was a bit much.
