Today, my fiancée's OCD hit a new low when she screamed at me for flicking the light-switch off "the wrong way". This led to her flicking it on and off about a dozen times, followed by a twenty-minute lecture on how to do it "properly". We're getting married next month. FML

Make sure you request lots and lots of light bulbs on your wedding registry!

A woman working at a sex shop, you deserved this

This isn't "a new low", that's literally how OCD works. Having OCD isn't just being a 'neat freak', it's basically a ritual that they have to do or else their brain tells them something bad is about to happen. It's like an anxiety thing. Someone can spend 20 minutes trying to turn the light off 'the right way'. Albeit, it doesn't really make a lot of sense why she was yelling at YOU about it. Maybe it was the anxiety talking.

That poor woman. :( I hope she finds someone who actually cares enough to be there for her instead of posting shit-talking FML's about her disorder.

dude, this is what you signed up for. you have to respect her

Just remember that OCD is something that can't be helped. you don't choose your mental disorders, and if you can't handle it, maybe she isn't the right gal for you.

Well it happens and for god sake turn off the ******* light correctly next time. Really though marriage is great. It has some weird shit in between but its still great if you are with the person you are meant to be with.
