Today, my four roommates and I contracted lice. While all our heads were slathered in mayonnaise and saran wrap, our building's fire alarm went off. FML

Mayonnaise? There's a little thing called lice shampoo.

Lice are becoming resistant to the lice shampoos and harder to kill with them. Plus they have harsh chemicals. Mayo slathered in your hair and covered in saran wrap to keep it from getting everywhere smothers the lice you have to keep it in for a few hrs cause they are tough bastards and take 2-4hrs to suffocate. And mayo is safe (just eggs and oil)

OP, GP Clinics sell lice-killing shampoo. Save you the time, hassle... and mayonnaise. Just saying.

You should have washed your hair in vinagre (i know it's spelt wrong) but the lice don't like the smell and it probably looks better than sitting with a Saran wrapped head
