first of all there is always some person who says thi FML has been here before.. this site has been here for a while and im about sure some of the situations have happened before to more than one person.. whats sad is that u know this site soo well that u can tell wether its an exact duplicate or not. Second who leaves a four year old unattended so they can nap.

31 You can cut hair with child safety scissors, the kind where the blades are plastic. When I was 4 a friend cut a big chunk out of my hair with safety scissors.

Not if you get the crappy kind. Some of the ones with plastic blades have a small strip of metal that make it possible to cut clean lines through paper. The REALLY cheap ones are entirely plastic and don't cut much of anything.

Who knows what time of day this was? if it was a nap, then who was supposed to be watching the child. If I'm sleeping and someone comes into the room (even if the door is open) I usually hear them and wake up. Even if I didn't I sure would wake up if someone started touching me or my hair. Who knows. Maybe the OP is a heavy sleeper. I don't know if this is an FML or YDI...
