Everyone thinks it's so romantic to overcome cultural and religious obstacles but I say it's just a pain in the ass. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and no one person is your soulmate. Find someone whose family won't see you as an outsider. It's never a good position. Plus, the cultural, ethnic, and religious differences do bite you in the ass down the road when you disagree on important issues.
no, dont worry. she's just a jewish mother. i'm jewish and my mom says that to me all the time.
antisemetic then?
jewish is an ethnicity and religion...good job #10
actually more people are starting to consider Judaism as both a religion AND an ethnicity
Religious affilliation is a touchy subject for any religeon. When my husband, who was raised Mormon but doesn't practice, married me, a Catholic, his family was so pissed they litterally gave us garbage for our wedding and said all our children will be bastards. All you can do is remain polite and civil and learn a little about thier customs so as not to accidently offend someone. After nearly two years of marriage most of his family have come around. And if she's driving you places, then she obviously doesn't hate you too much.

I dated a white girl with a racist father (I'm a half black half Asian). We just dealt with it and eventually he just kind've lightened up. Just keep at it and it'll get better. Although this girl did cheat on me after a 2-year long relationship so....yeah....
dont worry.... im pretty sure most jewish parents say that.. i know mine do.
