I see nothing wrong with that....as long as she's not pooping IN the shower &/or she has good sense to bring air freshener & under NO circumstance flush the toilet while your under the shower spray.

I think we're all forgetting that OP only has one bathroom, so it was either poop in the room with him or poop on the floor/sink. It may not be the most romantic thing and be gross for sure, but I'm sure if she had another option, she would used it. Grow up kids. Realize bodily functions are part of being human.
