seems like a legitimate reason ;)
Completely acceptable-ydi :)
That's why you don't date 10yo geeks....
There are countless better fantasy series out there than Harry Potter. Just like there are countless better vampire/werewolf flicks than Twilight. I can't wait until these two series are a thing of the past to be quite honest. 7 and 8 year old girls should not be obsessed over a sparkly emo kid. WTF is wrong with people these days? As far as Harry potter goes, my ex wife read the books aloud to our children countless times so I have heard them all many times and was never that impressed. It's a good story and certainly infinitely classier than Twilight, it is just a story and OP is probably better off without her if that is what she values most in life.
Good girl!
I think I've partially lost faith in all of humanity.
Let me know when humanity starts hating Harry Potter and then we'll talk about losing faith.
Hope you didn't said that the films are way much better.....
Obviously if she is really into it she would find it difficult to date someone who wasn't, my ex had no interest in HP and I hated it (NOT the reason we broke up). Stop calling this girl a 12 year old juvenile, some people are just very picky and would prefer to be with someone who shared their interests.

Could've been worse OP. It could've been the Twilight series. *shudders*
