Today, my girlfriend, her grandma, and I were leaving her house to eat lunch. I stubbed my toe on the door while exiting. It hurt, so I stood there shortly in pain. I heard my girlfriend's grandma call me a "pansy". I later saw blood and took off my shoe. My whole toenail had come off of my big toe. FML

That's so gross. It really hurts too. But you must have hit your foot pretty hard to make the whole toenail come off! Ugh. It makes me sick just thinking about that image. Gross. ):

Ouch! I feel your pain >< I was barefoot, SMACKED the front of my foot into a wall. Not only did I lose my third toenail, I also broke toe and the part underneath my toe >< FML.

@ 44. I have manged to stop my little toe nails from growing before(because of a lot of abuse from running into stuff by accident). When it wasn't growing and was short I manged to rip it clean off. You don't need long toenails to do this, you just need a hard hit and rotten luck

Ew. My mom did that once. Taking nails off hurts like a bitch. Wrap a bandaid or something areound it REALLY tight, it hurts less if you imitate the pressure that the nail had. >_<

Ooo....that happened to me once. I was like 8 years old. And I was still partially atached to my toe...and the chipped nail was connected to the sock. It hurt like hell getting it off. I know your pain. FYL.

That's really got to hurt. Worst I've ever lost a nail was when I was hanging up a picture and bashed my thumb with a hammer. Well I didn't actuallt lose it, but it was all crumpled up and black like some kind of raisin. No more tools for me, I might end up doing something worse, like chopping off a limb. ;) I wonder what your girlfriend's grandma would think if she saw your nail-less toe now.
