Today, my girlfriend informed me that our relationship is an open one. This was only after I was told that when she was "stuck in traffic" two days ago, she was actually playing the triple-X version of Twister in my "best friend's" bed. FML

I would be informing her that it's not an open relationship anymore as there is no longer a relationship for sleeping around! Sorry OP but all I read about is people cheating on each other in this app and it annoys me that people can just be that shit and disrespectful to each other especially when they are the ones who supposedly love you. Sorry this happened to you OP.

I concur. Open relationships work great so long as the boundaries are discussed and negotiated in the beginning and there is good communication between the primary partners. This also goes for polyamorous relationships. Take away any of those very important pillars and the relationship is very likely doomed from the beginning.

This is not extrem, it's just not how open relationships work. First of all, everybody involved should know it's open, BEFORE this situation happens. And sencond, there is no lying in an open relationship. Otherwise it's NEVER working out. Sorry for my grammar, english is not my first language...
