Today, my girlfriend of 3 years said she was leaving me because recently I wasn't making much money, and was playing too many video games. I recently got a raise at my job of 5 years. The job? Testing video games. FML

I don't really see the FML here. Good riddance to a woman with a bad attitude. Especially if she stated you're not making enough money. She's a gold digger. Saved you the hastle of dumping her

This is a blessing. Now you save even more money with more pay and no leech. Now you can save to impress that babe down the road. Get one of those expensive rentals and a five stat restaurant. Then might have the money left over for a five star hotel if you catch my drift

If your job pays the bills, fine. But if she wanted a home and family someday and thought you weren't going to help provide that, then she would probably be frustrated. also, if you were always working, she might feel you aren't paying her enough attention. Also I wish I could tell from this if she had a job and if so, how her salary compared to yours.

Those who think video game testing is a good job either are too young or too stupid to find a decent job. You can bury this but it wont't prevent you from ending up in poverty.
