I tell my grandma the things that I want, not because I'm greedy and can't wait for her to pass, I love my grandma and that's going to be a very sad day when that happens. The reason I tell her is because I can't trust my father to keep any of the sentimental things that grandma has that are 40-50+ years old that have been in our lives forever. If dad thinks it's worth anything, it'll get pawned, and she knows this too. So I have laid claim to all of her photographs and the sentimental things that she wants to stay in the family so they don't end up in some dingy pawn shop.
And for that, they get nothing.
Well we all know that dealing with a death is complicated as it is because of all the paper work. Either they just want to make sure there is a will when the day comes or they are greedy, heartless grandchildren. I'd go for the second option.
Awesome grandma/grandpa!!! Very modern!!! :) I hope that you will live for a long time...
Entitlement generation at its finest. As one of the previous post mention don't leave them squat.
I'm sure they were just joking. Enjoy their random rubbish. And if they weren't joking, you always have a will.
I'd slap the shit out of them
I'm sorry OP that's beyond messed up I couldn't ever imagine doing that to my grandparents it makes sad to even think about the day they won't be here, you have some ungrateful grandkids go old school on them and use a switch.
if youre still internet savvy enough to post on fml i think they have awhile to wait
