Am I the only one who doesn't think this is so terrible? I mean I guess it depends on how you go about it but my brother and I have already started picking out my parents stuff. It's not meant in a mean or selfish way, it's done mostly jokingly. But there is just enough of a serious element that my brother and I can settle any disputes whilst my parents are around and can help rather than having us fighting after their death. It also shows my parents how much certain things mean to us. Our reasoning is normally accompanied by happy memories and it makes the death thing a little bit less gloomy and scary. Sometimes it surprises you how much something sseemingly unimportant means to someone and why...it brings the family together.

Kids always do that but mostly in their heads and not so verbally.

This May sound bad but I've done this with my cousins as a joke.

When my paternal grandad died we found out that every item in his apartment had a piece of masking tape with a name on it on the back. My maternal grandma has now gone around and done the same thing. No fighting after she's gone.

How old are you to be able to use this app?

Yeah, OP's kids apparently weren't taught how to raise their kids not to be shitbags.. Breakdown: >>OP >>OP's kids >>OP's shitbag grand kids.

Now you know what to get rid of before that time comes.

Wouldn't their parents get the items first AKA your kids?
