Today, my grandma and I were watching the Ranger's playoff game. As Henrik Lundqvist received a standing ovation from the crowd after blocking 38 shots, she says to me, "Check out his equipment!" My 80-year old grandma just commented on Henrik Lundqvist's package. FML

You deserve it for being a rangers fan.

Today, I was having a pleasant afternoon with my grandson, watching some of that hockey stuff, which I don't like, but he seems to enjoy. At the end, when Henrik Lundqvist got a standing ovation, I said I liked his equipment, referring of course to his helmet. My grandson didn't get that and started giggling uncontrollably like a little girl. He's 16, and acts like he's 12. FML

equipment can mean helmet, stick, etc... but probs not in this case.

I would like to make three points, in no particular order of importance. 1) Lundqvist is a great goalie, but FYL for being a Rangers fan 2) You're stupid, she meant his pads/helmet/stick/etc... there's no way you can see his junk through the pads, no matter how big his swedish package is. 3) Lord Stanley's Cup will summer in the nation's capital in 2010. Go Caps.

You say FYL for being a Rangers fan when you're a caps fan? Caps will win when Ovechkin learns that he also needs to play defense, so you're screwed.

The world needs more grannies like yours. Give her a hug.

lol all americans who dont know what hockey is hahaha

this isn't an fml or a ydi. Your grandma is just awesome! :D But if he is a hockey player then I don't see how she could even see his "equipment". I think she meant like his helmet, pads, etc.

FML is not a place to have ENDLESS arguements over sports. I for one am a HUGE Rangers fan, but am not saying one team is better over another. Life is easier that way.
