Is your cat okay? I think he/she should be locked in your bedroom when you leave. Provide food, water and a litterbox of course. Part of me wonders if you're living with your grandmother BECAUSE she cannot take care of herself or others.. if not, please schedule a mental health evaluation with her doctor. Putting an animal in a dryer isn't a normal behavior.
