That sucks. It's similar to the feeling "oh shit my boyfriends parents are hardcore Catholic and I'm Wiccan." But in the end if you love him then I wish you two a good life if your grandma approves or not.

My grandmother used to be racist because of the times she grew up in, but then one of her stepdaughters fell in love with a black man. She was STILL racist until they had a black son who my grandmother loved very much because she loves all of her grandchildren. After that, she accepted all people for who they are. Don't worry OP, your grandma's opinions, thoughts, and racism can change with love. I wish you the best!
