Today, my grandmother tried to upstage me at my wedding by wearing an actual wedding dress because she "never had a real wedding". FML

Would you want your grandma to do this at yours?

That's so rude of your grandma! Sorry OP! I can't believe that 727 people think you deserve it!

Well explain to her that it wasn't her wedding so her explanation is nonsensical. Tell her to renew her vows with your granpa if she's still married to him. What I don't get though is why she didn't do it at your mother's wedding. There must be something there so talk with her and tell her how you felt about what she did.

How does everyone know it's a guy? It doesn't say male..

You should thank her op. now you have had a real wedding. They are only real if a loved one does something stupid and makes a scene, accidentally or on purpose.

To me, insisting that no one take pictures at the wedding seems a bit Bridezilla to me. More so then getting upset that flowers you paid for not showing up. It is all a matter of perspective.

As much it makes you furious right now OP, over time it will not be so bad. No wedding ever goes according to plans. Weddings and funerals seem to bring out the crazy in people. At my maternal grandmother's funeral, someone bet my aunt $20 to wear her dirty PJ's... to the funeral.

You weren't wearing a dress?

Sorry, but showing up at someone else's wedding wearing a wedding dress is a horrible thing to do, especially if you're a relative. That's not really "bridezilla."

Tie grandma up with her dress on and lock her in the trunk of your mother in laws car!
