They should've just moved everything around without taking anything as they did, but instead leave a note saying "you'll never figure out what we took". The years of therapy you would have to go through afterward would teach you to get better things.

in a way, isn't that sort of a good thing? like, it sucks that your house got broken into OP, but if one thief says you don't have good stuff, that could go round the criminal grape vine, then you will never get your house broken into again. so wouldn't it sort of be a good thing that he said that? it's not really an FML.
