your attempts to foil them would have tanked. it sucks to have to put up with that kind of crap. at least they didn't tie you to a stool. although your attempts at heroism were flushed, try not to feel too shitty about it. after all, we can't all be heroes - someone has to be number two.

Actually you weren't robbed you were burglarized. You can't be robbed if you aren't home. To be robbed you have to be present and have your things taken through force or fear. Know the law people.

OP, your experience is pure blue collar hilarity. I would like to talk to you about a Family Guy cutaway gag based on your experiences. Obviously, we'll replace your character with an 80s action figure, which makes no sense as most people who watch your show were born in the late 80s to mid 90s. "Geez Lois, that's more embarrasing then when He-Man had to explain why he couldn't stop Skeletor when he robbed Castle Grayscale."

I love it when ppl think they are superior by " correcting" someones spelling. ppl make mistakes there wouldn't be erasers on pencils if there were no mistakes. so plz by all means get over your self and move on. if you can read it and understand it then there is no reason to make others feel like crap for your personal gain.

American English was standardised after the Revolution and largely without regard to the original spellings. No, England doesn't need to conform to the US.
