Today, my husband and I had just got over a big argument, and I asked him to cut me some cucumbers for my eyes to help me relax. I was laying down, eyed closed, and he set them on my eyes. They weren't cucumbers, they were lemons. FML

She deserved it, if they just had a argument, he's obviously going to still sore about something, maybe because he has a lazy wife who demands that he cut her vegetables for her eyes (which I'm pretty sure don't do anything). Shes not worrying about how stressed or how he is after the fight, stuck up bitch

Adults argue over important issues. Doesn't mean you don't love the other person, so why wouldn't you still support each other? It doesn't mean you have to be childish and physically try to hurt each other.

why the hell did you ask him to cut cucumbers for YOUR eyes?? -- he likely wasn't exactly calmed down and would have preferred to have his own 'relaxing' time-- no it wasn't very 'mature' of him to put lemons on your eyes but on the same token it wasn't very thoughtful of you to assume he would want to do anything for you at that moment. next time give him his space that he needs as much as you do and cut your own damn cucumbers.

What if OP's husband asked her if there was anything he could do for her once the argument was over? Maybe he started it and was acting like he was going to make it up to her? Or maybe OP started it, they had a healthy argument that OP thought was over, and the husband asked her if he could do anything for her? Think through possibilities before automatically labeling it as YDI. Obviously I'm not saying that any of these are the case. Everyone else could be right on here. Just saying that we're not given enough space on here to properly explain everything.
